Short Profile
If you’ re genuinely passionate about understanding how the world works at a molecular level, to study chemistry is for you. Turn your passion and creativity into exciting experiments that can lead to innovative products with real-world industrial applications. This programme features stimulating chemical reactions and offers an inspiring intellectual journey, combining analytical thinking, experimental design, hands-on synthesis, and the challenge of solving scientific problems through science – whether in the laboratory, in industry, or in research. From day one, the programme puts a strong emphasis on applying theoretical knowledge in practice — in modern laboratories equipped with advanced scientific instrumentation. The ideal candidate for this programme is anyone who has a basic knowledge of chemistry and is interested in taking it to the next level – whether they are a recent secondary school graduate, a career changer seeking advancement, a creative problem solver, or someone passionate about chemistry – and who is ready to explore different areas of this field, pursue innovative solutions, and gain practical laboratory experience.
Course Content
This programme provides an engaging and comprehensive overview to the major areas of chemistry from the basics to intermediate-level problems. You will explore fundamental chemistry, physico-chemical methods, spectroscopy, organic and inorganic chemistry, metal complexes, and analytical techniques, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory experience. Throughout the programme, you will have the opportunity to develop your analytical thinking, design and carry out experiments, and tackle scientific challenges.
